Square collection of beautiful photos

I don't do colour very often (the original black and white version is here). However, I was approached recently by an Australian literary magazine (Harvest Magazine) for permission to use this image. However, then they changed their minds and wanted it in colour. The editor offered to colour it herself, so I thought I'd at least try to see if someone might colour it for nothing (it being an unpaid job for me also).
So, I sent out a cry for help, and got some responses, but the deadline proved too tight for it to work. Thanks to all who responded, though - I hope to run a proper competition sometime soon. In the meantime, please let me know if there is any of my work that you would like to colour. By the way, the reference for the picture is Caspar David Friedrich's picture, "The Wanderer" - see here. |

whooo.
Nietzsche is a good philosipher although some of his ideas on good intentions are a bit counter productive.

The past has happened and there's nothing one can do to change it.
The future is unpredictable and will always be diferent than you expect it to be.
The present, The moment, is all that matters.

St. Francis said,
“A man who uses his hands is a laborer. One who uses his hands and mind is a craftsman. He who uses his hands, and his mind, and his heart is an artist.”
"We have art in order not to die of the truth."
Meaning: in real life his moustache wasn't that sexy

Prophet still, if bird or devil.
"...allí, en el libre vagar de la mirada, es donde se encuentra la verdad."
Yes, I did go to town on the moustache!
Thanks very much for your comments.
